- 4 common graded assignments, which can include quizzes, projects, and classwork assignments
- 1 unit assessment
- Health: 5 grades per quarter
Graded Assignments
- Graded assignments and assessments will post to Infinite Campus no later than one week (5 school days) following the assigned date.
- Students and parents are notified of graded assignments (including quizzes, projects, and classwork assignments) via Friday newsletters and/or weekly calendar.
- Students and parents are notified of unit tests at least one week (5 school days) prior to the test, and study guides for unit assessments only will be sent home one week (5 school days) prior to the test.
Group Work
- Individual performance within a group can be graded.
- Group grades will not be assigned.
Recovery
- Student redo/retakes must be completed ten (10) school days prior to the end of the semester.
- Students will be eligible for ONE redo/retake who achieve a score of 89 or less on any graded assignment.
- Students will be eligible to earn a replacement grade on a redo/retake with a score no more than 89.
- Students may request to redo any assignment by simply asking us!
Incompletes
- Late or missing assignments will be recorded as incomplete.
- Students can replace any incomplete with a score prior to the end of the grading period by completing and turning in the incomplete work.
- Teachers will encourage students to replace incompletes as soon as possible, but they have until the end of the semester to complete late or missing assignments.
- At the end of a grading period, an “I” for incomplete will be entered on a student’s report card if a student does not complete 80% of the summative assignments/assessments.
